*EASTERN WISDOM IN A WESTERN WORLD*
with Simon Lamb
Friday 28th November
7.00pm for a 7.30pm start
Broad Chalke Village Hall
Shortly before his 30th birthday, Simon took a left turn—leaving a corporate job, and a more familiar path for the road less travelled. In the six years since, he has immersed himself in somatic, natural, and eastern wisdom—teaching breathwork and the Chinese movement practice of Qigong.
In this evening talk, Simon will speak about that turning point, the science of breathwork, the health benefits of Qigong, his interest in Daoism, his time in China, and the value of eastern wisdom in a western world.
He will also share, through photographs and film, his reflections on Chinese society and what he learned travelling solo through vast and unfamiliar lands.
The talk will include a gentle, accessible practice introducing breathwork and movement tools you can take away with you.
